What Skeldale collects

When you send an enquiry through this website, Skeldale collects your name, phone number, email address, requested dates, stay type, number of dogs and anything you add to the optional note.

Why Skeldale collects it

Skeldale uses this information to respond to your enquiry, take steps towards a booking at your request and, if you book, administer the stay. The lawful bases are taking steps at your request before entering a contract and Skeldale’s legitimate interest in responding to genuine enquiries and operating the boarding service.

How long Skeldale keeps it

Skeldale keeps unsuccessful-enquiry information only while it is reasonably needed to respond, follow up and resolve related questions. If an enquiry results in a booking, relevant records are retained only for as long as needed to administer the stay and meet applicable legal, accounting, insurance or dispute-resolution obligations. Records are then securely deleted.

Sharing

Skeldale does not sell your information. Information is shared only when necessary with service providers that host the website, process the enquiry form and provide email services, currently Netlify and Google. Information may also be shared where required by law or where necessary to protect a person, an animal or Skeldale’s legal rights. These providers may process data outside the European Economic Area under the safeguards described in their applicable data-processing terms.

Your rights

Subject to the circumstances set out in data-protection law, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, or object to its processing.
